Cencora is proud to offer a unique APPE program to prospective PharmD candidates, holding strong to our belief of contributing to the future of healthcare and to the future professionals in our industry. At Cencora, PharmD candidates will have the opportunity to leverage the knowledge of highly accomplished industry experts while gaining hands-on experience as a contributing member to a wide array of projects across multiple pharmaceutical companies, therapies, and disease states. This practice experience is designed to provide PharmD candidates with a basic understanding of the clinical, economic, and humanistic outcomes of healthcare interventions. Didactic and practical experience in these core areas will expose the student to a variety of competencies utilized in a health outcomes research and market access consulting firm. The practice environment primarily involves working directly on projects for a number of top pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and diagnostic companies, and may include interactions with other healthcare stakeholders (payers, providers, and patient advocates).
